I bought it as a gimmick, which is I'm sure where the idea came from. It comes in a really neat box. Leatherman Wave ReviewComing in at 8.5 ounces and only 4 inches long, the Leatherman Wave is Leatherman's best selling multitool, and for good reason. It sports 3 inch blades and has 17 tools with 2 changeable bits. Worth noting are the blades that are accessible from the outside and are deployed with one hand, the great little scissors, and the eyeglasses screwdriver. If they would add an awl, this might be the most perfect item I've ever owned! This is the one item that I use more than any other. That is partly because of my job, but even not at work, it is second nature to reach to my belt for this tool at all times. I am considering replacing it with the Leatherman Surge, which is essentially a bigger brother that adds an awl. Defend the Republic, and please join the NRA! Kel-Tec PF-9 ReviewThis is a review of my new Kel-Tec PF-9 handgun. I purchased this firearm for 2 reasons; I wanted something chambered in 9mm because it is such a prevalent round and would be useful to have around in case of emergencies, and I also was looking for something in about the same size and weight as my Kahr PM45 while I wait for the Kahr to be repaired at the factory. There are a lot of things to like about the handgun. It is lightweight, inexpensive and produced in America with American parts by an American company. The controls are well positioned. Highly concealable, this should be a popular choice as a CCW firearm for anyone. It also holds 1 more round than the similar Kahr PM/CM9 and has an accessory rail, unlike the similar Kahrs or the Ruger LC9. Drawbacks include only coming with 1 magazine, a less than ideal magazine release, poor trigger ergonomics for average to large sized hands, a slightly difficult reassembly, and a long trigger pull with a long reset. Overall, this is still a very nice handgun, and one that I am happy to own.
